[English] Superstitions about eyelid twitching

الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَالصَّلاةُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ

Q:There is a habit spread in our village; if twitching of an upper eyelid signifies that a person soon will bring him joy and pleasure , where as the twitching of a lower eyelid signifies the impending misfortunes with tears ,and bad omen , O Shaykh is it true ?

Imam Ibn Baz- may Almighty Allah have mercy on him - : this is no basis for it, this is something baseless, don't rely on it; in its good and evil.
